Tenda Nova MX12 AX3000 Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System (2-Pack)
Weak Wi-Fi in distant bedrooms, unstable connections between floors or a router that cannot reach every corner of your home? The Tenda Nova MX12 AX3000 Whole Home Mesh Wi-Fi 6 System (2-Pack) is designed to solve these coverage challenges through two coordinated Wi-Fi 6 mesh nodes.
Instead of relying on a single router to cover the entire house, this Tenda MX12 Mesh Router 2-Pack distributes wireless connectivity across two locations. It creates a unified Wi-Fi network for compatible devices, making it an excellent option for larger apartments, multi-room homes, duplex houses and home offices in Bangladesh.
Two Mesh Nodes for Better Whole-Home Coverage
The advantage of the Tenda Nova MX12 2-Pack is its two-node mesh architecture. One unit connects to your broadband network as the primary router, while the second can be positioned in another suitable area to extend Wi-Fi coverage.
Both nodes work together under a unified wireless network name, reducing the need to manually switch between separate Wi-Fi networks when moving around your home.
With AP Steering and Band Steering, the mesh system helps compatible devices connect to appropriate access points and wireless bands.
Ryans and Star Tech provide approximate coverage estimates of 2,000–2,600 square feet for the 2-Pack. However, actual coverage depends on concrete walls, floor layout, interference, placement and the connection quality between the two mesh nodes.
AX3000 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 6 for Multiple Devices
Each Tenda MX12 node features a 1.7GHz Quad-Core Processor, 256MB RAM and four 3dBi internal antennas.
The AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 system supports combined theoretical wireless link speeds of up to 2976Mbps:
Technologies such as OFDMA, MU-MIMO, Beamforming and 1024-QAM improve wireless efficiency under suitable conditions.
This makes the Tenda MX12 AX3000 Mesh Router suitable for households using multiple smartphones, laptops, smart TVs and gaming devices.
The 2976Mbps figure represents the combined theoretical wireless rate per node, not guaranteed internet speed or an additive 5952Mbps connection across two nodes.
Flexible Mesh Connectivity with Ethernet Backhaul
Each MX12 unit includes three Gigabit Ethernet ports, giving the 2-Pack a total of six Gigabit Ethernet interfaces across both nodes.
These ports offer flexible wired connections for broadband equipment, desktop computers, smart TVs and other compatible network devices.
One valuable feature is Ethernet Backhaul. When both mesh nodes can be connected through suitable Ethernet cabling, their inter-node communication can use a wired connection instead of relying entirely on wireless backhaul.
This is particularly useful in Bangladeshi homes with thick concrete walls or floors that may weaken the wireless connection between nodes.
The system also supports Router Mode and Access Point Mode, providing flexibility when integrating it into an existing broadband network.
Easy Setup, Network Security and Family Controls
Setting up the Tenda Nova MX12 WiFi 6 Router is straightforward using its mesh networking functions and Tenda WiFi App.
Users can manage connected devices, configure guest Wi-Fi, apply parental controls and update firmware. The system also supports WPA3-SAE/WPA2-PSK wireless security, IPv6 and IPTV.
For families, parental control features such as URL filtering, client filtering and time limits provide additional control over home internet usage.
The two mesh nodes can be managed as part of one network, making everyday Wi-Fi administration more convenient than maintaining separate routers with different wireless settings.
